Ano ang mas SULIT Arawan or Pakyawan? (Construction tips and advices)

 ARAWAN O PAKYAWAN? Saan mas MAKAKASULIT?

Ang mas "sulit" na paraan ng pagpapasahod sa construction—arawan o pakyawan—ay nakadepende sa uri ng proyekto, ang mga manggagawa, at ang inaasahang timeline ng trabaho. Narito ang pagsusuri para sa bawat opsyon:

Arawan (Daily Wage)

Pros:

1. Mas flexible: Angkop para sa mga proyektong hindi ganap na tiyak ang detalye o kapag may inaasahang pagbabago sa disenyo at plano.

2. Kontrolado ang kalidad: Maaaring tutukan ang kalidad ng trabaho dahil binabayaran sila base sa oras, hindi sa bilis ng pagkumpleto.

3. Puwedeng hati-hatiin ang gawain: Madaling i-deploy ang mga manggagawa sa iba't ibang bahagi ng proyekto.

4. Mas madali ang record-keeping: Standardized ang sahod at oras ng trabaho.

Cons:

1. Mabagal na trabaho: Posibleng maging mas mabagal ang trabaho kung walang malinaw na insentibo na matapos agad.

2. Mataas ang risk sa overtime: Maaari itong maging mas mahal kung palaging may overtime.

3. Mas mataas ang admin effort: Kinakailangan ang tuloy-tuloy na pagmo-monitor ng oras at progreso.

Pakyawan (Contract Basis)

Pros:

1. Mas mabilis na trabaho: May insentibo ang mga manggagawa na tapusin agad ang proyekto upang makuha ang kabuuang bayad.

2. Mas predictable ang gastos: Agad na nalalaman ang kabuuang halaga ng trabaho.

3. Mas konting admin work: Hindi na kailangang tutukan ang oras at attendance ng manggagawa.

4. Responsibilidad ng contractor/worker: Karaniwang bahala ang manggagawa sa pamamahala ng oras at bilis ng trabaho.

Cons:

1. Maaaring mababa ang kalidad: Ang sobrang bilis na trabaho ay maaaring magresulta sa poor workmanship.

2. Hindi flexible: Hirap mag-adjust kapag may pagbabago sa plano, maliban kung may karagdagang bayad.

3. Risk ng underpayment: Kung mali ang costing, maaaring mabitin sa budget o makompromiso ang trabaho.

4. Pag-aaway sa terms: Posibleng magkaroon ng hindi pagkakaintindihan kung hindi malinaw ang kontrata.

Aling Paraan ang Mas Sulit?

* Kung ang proyekto ay maliit at simple: Pakyawan ang mas praktikal dahil mabilis itong matatapos at predictable ang gastos.

* Kung ang proyekto ay malaki at komplikado: Arawan ang mas angkop para matiyak ang kalidad at flexibility.

* Kung limited ang budget at mahalaga ang deadline: Subukang hatiin ang proyekto—pakyawan para sa mga tiyak at fixed na gawain (e.g., masonry, painting) at arawan para sa mas teknikal o variable na gawain (e.g., electrical, plumbing).

Pro Tip: Para sa parehong arawan at pakyawan, maglaan ng malinaw na kontrata at regular na inspeksyon upang matiyak ang kalidad ng trabaho at maayos na ugnayan sa mga manggagawa.

• Most of the Locals do not speak English. Their language is Cantonese. It’s hard to ask for directions. Make sure to do your research beforehand. 

• Rule of Int’l travel: Always bring your passport everywhere. 

• Search for “Hong Kong and Macau Travel updates” on FB groups. Super helpful!

• The HK Tourism Board is giving away 100HKD worth of goodies. You can claim your prize upon entering the arrival area at the airport. 

• Buy HK sim at any 7/11 or designated stores. Make sure to register first before you leave the store. 

• Buy an Octopus card for convenient travel. You can use it for almost all their transport. Reload are by 50’s and 100’s HKD only. 

• Most of our activities are booked on klook. Klook would be your money and time saver.  Best decision we made! 

• MTR in HK is very tourist-friendly. Study their transport system. Download the MTR app. Very on-time schedule.

• If you have a Go TYME card, use it to withdraw from any Bank of China ATM. Rate saver. No extra fees. 

• Peak tram advice: Sit on the right side when going up. Best View awaits. 

• Ngong Ping 360 hack: Usually there’s a long queue of Cable cars going to the big Buddha. So we took a bus from the City Gates going to the Big Buddha. Then going back to the city gates, We booked Crystal Cabin one way. It’s much much cheaper. 

• If you’re planning to go to Disneyland, it’s best to buy hats while in the Philippines. It could cost you more if you buy inside. Your choice anyway.

• Disney Entrance fee and meal voucher are cheaper when booked in Klook. You might want to consider adding a meal for experience. However, outside food is allowed and it costs cheaper. Make sure to check the Disney app for food restrictions. 

• Food trips are everywhere. Some restaurants have tea time from 2-6pm which foods are discounted. 

• Ready your awra. People in HK wear their best outfits. Make sure to wear yours. 

• Wear your comfiest shoes. Expect 10k steps a day.
